Ed Gillespie joined Jon Stewart on tonight's Daily Show. Gillespie is a Republican politicial strategist, a former Counselor to the President and currently is part of a bi-partisan lobbying firm. He's also Chairman of the Republican State Leadership Committee.
Admittedly, this interview isn't as funny as some of Stewart's other spots. It's civil and informative and smart, which one can't complain about really. They do, however, reference Michael Steele, the former RNC Chair, and as the two men agree regarding the replacement of Steele, the RNC's gain is The Daily Show's loss.
